Outdoor gear in Australia is expensive, and it's hard to know when a sale is real. Recommended retail prices on imported gear are often set high so that a permanent “sale” looks generous, and there are fewer retailers to compare against than in bigger markets.

KitLoot checks prices at Australian outdoor retailers every day and keeps the history. That lets us say something more useful than “30% off”: whether this is actually the cheapest the item has been, how it compares with other stores, and what it will cost delivered.

What we cover

Bushwalking, camping, 4WD and overlanding, climbing, trail running, snow sports and paddling gear from Australian retailers, priced in AUD including GST. We only list offers that ship within Australia.

How we make money
